RESTYLED

At Cellardoor we believe that every material can be reused and reinvented. Which is why we find it so hard to throw anything out - it's our little way of helping the planet.

Restyled is the fun bit. We take unwanted furniture and restyle it. Nothing new about that, but we think we're good at it. If you have the materials and ideas but not the tools and skills. It would be our pleasure to work with you to create it.

Below are some of the projects we have worked on. Every one using recycled materials for the majority of the build.

Child's Single bed

This solid oak bed was produced from reclaimed oak pews taken out of St Stephens church, Norwich. The panels were then framed with hand turned oak posts and finials to make the head and foot boards,

and the top of the pews became the side rails.

Arborglyphs were then created using cnc precision.

Shoe Bench

This shoe bench was designed and built to around an Oak board used for the seat that had been stored in the Grandparents garage for "years".

The painted boards had been part of their in-built wardrobe and was framed using locally grown, air dried oak.

King size bedstead

This upholstered bedstead was created from an unwanted dining table. The legs were shortened and fashioned to slot and hold the side rails. The remaining rails were used to frame the headboard which was upholstered and then studded with reclaimed antique studs from a restored chesterfield sofa.
